no title

the otherday i discovered an intersting new site called postsecret.com

one postcard says "I have the coolest dreams/Who needs drugs?" The back ground is yellow and blury and there is a blue butterfly in the forground. The background caught my attention but i couldn't tell what it was.

The next day I was putting some cd's on my comp, one belonging to my roommate. I had never seen the blur cd cover before, but instantly i thought of that postcard, and sure enough that's what it is. The postcard is the upper left corner of the blur cd cover! how cool is that?

I liked it, anyway... and patted myself of the back for such astute awarness.

Update

I talked to the gurl that took my email before me yesterday. She was quite nice, and also lives in Canada.

At least now I don't feel so bad. In good humour, she apoligized for taking my name and noted that we think alike.

I wonder if she really is like me. That would be neat.

No More Identity Theft

Are you sick of having to put numbers at the end of your hotmail account because someone picked the name before you?

How about those people who chose your nick names in forums and web communties?

Have you ever confronted them to let them know how you feel?

I have. I confronted a skoot on the web dating service plentyoffish.com, but he didn't seem to care. he didn't want to go on a date either.

Also, i just recently added the email of a stranger whose name i wanted when i was 15. This person forced me to place two underscores in my hotmail name, making it difficult to pass out my email to knew contacts. I refuse to but 99 or 284858944 at the end of my name. how dehumanizing.

now that this person is on my msn, i plan to tell him/her why s/he was added, and maybe we'll become friends. or, the more likely alternative, this person will block me, and i will have ever more reason to hate every person out there whose internet name is skoot!
