Su Doku Can Suck my Doku

For years and years, no one played su duko and other number puzzle variations.
But suddenly Su Doku has become ultra in fashion (which famous person was doing this puzzle in public?).
My grandmother, who played this for years, is now in fashion.
But she buys the variety puzzle books that cost 3.49
You know what i'm talking about. Those ones that grandma does.
These days tho, kids play it on the computer, or buy well bound Su Doku books that look like novels, and have "The Times" stratically placed near the words Su Doku.

I'm sure you do, but just arn't familiar with the name.
If you've never completed a Su Doku puzzle, you are not cool.

Knitting is out. Poker is for the rich. Scientology, for the believers.
Su Doku, anyone can look like they are solving the puzzle (even when they're not)

In Chapters, there is even a Su Doku for DUMMIES. But then, there is a for DUMMIES for everything, so one can't be surprised.

Note Cost of War

Last time i check the cost of war counter, AIDS funding would be covered for 24 years, or world hunger funding for 10 years, and that the cost of the war is almost 1000 dollars per person (in the US). I think this is the best protest site i've seen in a long time, since numbers are so effective.

I don't know a lot about the war in Iraq. What I really mean is that I don't know much about Iraq, except that it's leader used to be Saddam and now it's not, and that's a good thing. But from what i hear, things aren't going too well.

I've decided to put the counter up for a little while, just to see how big the counter grows...

I also wonder how this number is calculated, since the thousand digit turns more than every second.

Oh man, i've made a terrible error. I seemed to have missed my digit birthday. If you don't know what a digit is, I will quickly recap, but it can be found else where on my blog.

digit: is the unit assigned every year a givin number day of the month (say the 21st) lines up with the name day of the week (say saturday) in a month (how bout january).

This can be done with any holiday. for example, i was born on a sat on jan 21 1984. This year I turned 3 digits.

And goddam! i missed it. was thinking about it. but then thought, no its in 2008. but i was wrong...

another thing about digits, is that you don't celebrate them on the years in between. only on digit years, because this is your TRUE birthDAY. but because you celebrate so few, it is obligatory to celebrate so hard you go deaf.

so it's too bad i missed mine, but i'm telling you in 2012, i have to make up for 2 digits!

Bus Serires#5 The Sound of Silence

I got on the bus from campus, and the bus driver said thank you. Those were the last words i would hear for the next 20 minutes. The bus was full. Every seat was taken. People stood in the isles, hanging onto bars. It was absolutely packed.

This is not uncommon for the time of day and direction. However, what was strange is that there was not a single person talking. No one on the bus said word. No music played.

The even funnier thing is that it seems like silence, but really the bus is quite loud with the motor and breaks and doors...but with no one talking i felt like i was a part of a painting, just another body. And the bus driver silently draged all of us to our destinations.

Not Forgotten

It may appear as though i haven't been posting on this blog as much. and in actuallity this is true. but that doesn't mean that i'm not posting at all. many times if you look at my other blogs, i have been posting there.

for example, i have been posting quite often on my dream blog. this is because i have been having a lot of dreams lately that i remember. also, surprisingly i post on my cyber junk live journal...

sometimes, what i want to write does not fit the theme of this blog. perhaps this is why i do have sooo many.

another cool thing is that on the msn space i can see how many ppl have looked at my blog, this affects what i put on there. for example, since i know there is a lot of traffic there in a week, i will post things that i want a lot of ppl to see.

i mean there may be a lot of ppl checking this out. but i don't know how many. i always assume, no one, and then am shocked when someone mentions something from my blog.

once i tried putting a counter on my blog, but that didn't work. maybe i will try again.
