Bytown Museam a Must

Wednesday was a lovely day, not just because of the weather but because my lover treated me to entry into the Bytown Museum. Located along the canal near Parliament stands a historical building: 1826 tool shed gone 2007 UNESCO World Heritage Site.

My childhood memories of this building were vague, but yesterday I was blown away. This is a great museum for all ages. It gives a great history of the making of Ottawa city which centered around the building of the canal.

I must say that the design of the museum blends the feel of entering into the historic time using modern museum technology.

There is even cute things for the kids, like dress-up.

The best part is it's only $6 bucks to get in.

The artifacts are curious and intriguing.

Not to mention the temporary exhibit called Karsh of Ottawa which displays current photos of historic buildings in Ottawa.

There is not one thing that I dislike about this museum. I deem it the best in OTTAWA!
